Location, location, location! We are situated right on the ski slopes, immediately adjacent to the chairlifts, and with easy access to both the adult ski school offices and children's center. Ski and ride to and from the Hotel!
In keeping with the warmth, fun and ambience of the alpine tradition we offer our exclusive ski week programs, designed to provide you with an incomparable experience. The programs include:
- seven nights lodging
- three delicious meals per day, starting with dinner on day of arrival and ending with breakfast on day of departure
- nightly entertainment featuring live music
- a host of amenities such as valet parking, indoor hot tub, ski clinics, kids club, stretch classes and massage therapy.
Coupled with all of this are:
- 6-day lift tickets and group morning ski lessons provided by a group of dedicated instructors from the acclaimed Taos Ski Valley Snowsports School, affording you priority lift access and thus more time to ski!

The world-famous Snowsports School, ranked Number 1 in the country, is one of the reasons guests keep coming back to Taos Ski Valley. At the Hotel St. Bernard we continually evolve while keeping an eye on the past. The St. Bernard has stood the test of time since 1960, nestled on the ski slopes it is a perennial favorite. We maintain an historic appeal but we constantly seek improvement to offer a distinctive flair to our guests.
Deposits & Payment
We ask for a deposit of $1000 (1-2 people) or $1500 (3 or more people) per room to confirm reservations, due within 10 days of request. Final payment is due upon arrival. We accept ONLY checks (drawn on U.S. accounts), traveler's checks, money orders (drafts in U.S. funds) or cash. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS FOR HOTEL DEPOSITS OR PAYMENTS. WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE READ/UNDERSTAND OUR CANCELLATION POLICY BEFORE YOU CONFIRM RESERVATIONS. GUESTS ARE URGED TO INSURE AGAINST THE LOSS OF THEIR DEPOSIT DUE TO CANCELLATION.
As a ski lodge in a destination resort, cancellations are particularly difficult for us. Thus, we require a written notice postmarked at least 45 days prior to the confirmed arrival date. With such notice, deposit is refunded less 10% handling charge. FOR CANCELLATIONS INSIDE 45 DAYS, DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE, REGARDLESS OF CIRCUMSTANCES. DEPOSITS APPLY ONLY TO CURRENT SKI SEASON, NOT TO BE CARRIED OVER TO ANOTHER SEASON. In case of late arrival or early departure, deposit is applied to unused portion of reservation.
