Summer / Fall Activities

Summer and Fall are very special seasons for us at the St. Bernard and for good reasons.

We bask in the beauty of the mountains and celebrate the transformation from our winter snow-covered surroundings to the glorious green of the landscape with rushing rivers and flower-filled meadows.

We have the privilege of sharing all of this with our guests from the Taos School of Music and the Fechin Art Workshops.

The Taos School of Music has become something of an institution and this year will celebrate its 50th anniversary.  The students and faculty will be joining us on June 11th for what promises to be a memorable summer of music in the mountains.  The public are invited to contact us to make dinner reservations on selected dates and these dinners are followed by concerts which are also open to guests who are not dining with us.  You will find more information about the School and its program of events for this summer by going to www.taosschoolofmusic.com.

In September / October we have the pleasure of hosting the Fechin Art Workshops, a program which has been established for over 25 years. Nationally known painters will be featured as they demonstrate their technique and provide individual critiques for students throughout the week. This program offers an exclusive opportunity for exchange between students and outstanding instructors, maximizing personal artistic growth.
